Resume

Zhongping Yao is a professor in School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). He got his PhD from HIT in 2006 and then got a faculty position in HIT. In 2011, he went to Pennsylvania State University in the United States for 1-years visiting research supported from Chinese Scholarship Council in 2011. He has authored / coauthored more than 100 papers in refereed journals and authorized dozens of Chinese invention patents. Besides. He has received one second-prize for national technological invention in 2017, several first and second prizes for science and technology in Heilongjiang Province in recent years. His research direction is the development of low dimensional functional materials and devices, as well as the preparation technology of special functional coatings such as photothermal and thermal control coatings, anti-corrosion and anti-fouling coatings.
