Resume

Associate Professor Qun Wang earned his Ph.D. from Hunan University, China, where he currently serves as Director of the Institute of Materials Friction, Wear, and Surface Engineering Technology. He previously conducted advanced research as a Visiting Scholar at the Thermal Spray Research Center, Stony Brook University (USA), where he completed a one-year collaborative project. His research focuses on surface engineering technologies, including cold spraying, thermal spraying, laser cladding, and plasma electrolytic oxidation for industrial applications. He has extensive experience in materials development, specializing in thermal spray powder preparation and functional coating design. Dr. Wang actively collaborates with industry partners, serving as a technical consultant for multiple enterprises in optimizing surface coating processes and advanced materials solutions.
